The Overall Concept

LOCATION OF PROJECT

Mainly, the location should idealistically be, on an island...but on careful thoughts especially when it comes to security reasons, I will plan an alternative. Mayyybe, it can be overlooking the sea (The Red Sea would be lovely!), or a dessert. Whatever or wherever it is situated, the point is, it must have a vast area of nature, pure nature, untouched by human's silly interventions or cow dungs.

THE BUILDING

It shouldn't be too tall, as I like people living in the house to be as accessible to each other conveniently. No using of technology to call for the other person around the house. It should be, max, 2 storey high, not including a cellar for storage purposes and a rooftop whatsitcalled for children to play-pretend or hide and sick or whatever. The colour of the building should be earthy tones. Perhaps sand-coloured bricks and uneven wall texture. The main theme of the project should ideally be - A Resort-Like Retreat. The structure of the building is that of a Mosque, a with large dome - which will also be the main bedroom.

A private swimming pool is attached to a small garden for recreation.

THE COMPLEX

The main complex should comprise of a large living room with large glass doors overlooking the vast area of green, or sand or sea. Another wall on another side of the hall have similar concepts, but this time, with the view of the pool. This side will also be the wall to the dinner table where everyone sits for all meals. The living hall is spacious and wide. Using only earth tones furnitures and decorations, the effect should be calming and relaxing for residents and guests alike. Minimal use of artefacts, but more emphasis on the layout.

Between the living hall and the dining hall, there must be a division, but no neccessarily a wall. It can be a semi-blockage of bricks which may give the dining room a sneak preview, but not too revealing. The dining hall is also slightly delevated with a couple of tiny steps at the entree.
